I'm home in SoCal!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, story time.
It was my last day to use the Gyu-Kaku groupon so I made a date with Stef to go at 7. She drove over to my place around 6:30 and my dog, AJ, went crazy (like usual) cause he saw a familiar car pull in. I opened the door thinking that the screen door was closed but, NOPE, it wasn't. AJ jolted down the stairs and I started yelling at him. I automatically closed the screen door without checking to run after him and what do you know.. the door was locked. My wallet, keys, phone, EVERYTHING was inside and I couldn't go anywhere without them. My family was also in Costa Mesa for my sister's game so it wasn't even like I could make a super quick trip to get a hold of some house keys. I cursed AJ, who at this point is shivering from splashing around in the puddles, telling him it was all his fault for putting me in this chaotic mess. I stood there for a while wondering what to do but nothing came to mind but to break into my own house. I attempted to be a ninja like my younger sister, who strangely does this all the time by herself, but the roof was wet and slippery from the rain and it was dark and cold. I eventually gave up but then Stef decided to give it a shot. She just went for it and was freaking out halfway while dangling from the roof. She finally got up and broke in through the window. I got my belongings and we changed our reservations to 7:30. We couldn't even eat until 8:30 since there were so many people waiting in line. Reservations mean nothing. -_-
