Celebrated a Compass brother's birthday at Cheesecake Factory. I was surprised to hear that he wanted to hang out the week of his MCAT. He's spent everyday of this summer studying and preparing for the test (So dedicated.. I need to learn a thing or two from this guy). Who can blame him though? It's his special day.

Scavenger
1) Cuisinart Electric Cookie Press - I'm not too into baking but, hey, it was nicely boxed waiting for me to bring it home. I'm sure my housemate Jasmine will somehow make use of it. I hope it works though. I'm too lazy to check.
2) Sterling & Noble Alarm Clock - My mom actually found this new alarm clock in a shopping cart. I think it was accidentally left behind by whoever purchased it. Since Jen and I are both deep sleepers, I'm hoping that this will save us from being late to 9am classes.
3) Sensation and Perception Textbook - I have the same exact textbook sitting on my bookshelf right now from a previously taken PSC131 class. I don't understand why people throw books away. Oh well, I'm making me some money selling this back!
4) I don't really know what this foldable seat is called but it was a good find since we don't have much furniture next year.
I actually found a nice lamp but it wouldn't work once I plugged it into an outlet. Disappointing indeed. :/ I will update with more items as these dumpster diving adventures continue but for now I am off to bed. I must wake up for church tomorrow, goodnight!

Word
Luke 10:38-42:
As Jesus and his disciples were on their way, he came to a village where a woman named Martha opened her home to him. She had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet listening to what he said. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, "Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!""Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."

Ta-daaaa
Hi Blogspot, I'll start using you even though you were made 3 years ago. Tumblr's getting boring and I want a fresh new start. I guess it's out with the old, in with the new. Coincidentally, that could be said for many things in my life right now. NBD.
I'm in a strange mood today so I'll stop myself from blatantly writing down personal issues and emotions, knowing I'll cringe reading these kinds of posts in the future. Instead, here are some pictures!
This is me creeping on Julia. I was secretly recording her worshiping but it's supposed to be for my ears only (er, actually God). Anyways, this picture will have to do.
I finally had lunch with Lindsay at Crepeville. I honestly don't know enough about her and I hope to spend this last year at Davis fixing that. I'm so encouraged by her beautiful heart. Keep on praying, girrrl!
Meet Erica's new buddy. He/she doesn't have a name yet but is quite loved by its new owner. Erica bought me ice cream from Rite-Aid after I met her t3i. She loves me. :)
Is it sad that this was my best game ever? I actually think that it's funny that everyone else did worse than me. Before this day I'd never gotten over a 90, and that includes the time I played with bumpers among rowdy 3rd graders.
Time to go dumpster diving. Toodles.
